"On the subject of mysteries, and how mysterious circumstances can change the course of a lifetime, nothing more peculiar would have happened for centuries than the birth of this particular child in this particular cave. I say it would have been, as for the moment Charlee was born, no one was there to witness."

Charlee and The Bear is a personal project of truly epic scale, a bedtime story for insomniacs. A short movie in stills format, captured over 12 days in remote Tasmania with 6 crew members, more than double the amount of suitcases (carrying a complete custom wardrobe created for the titular character) and… a polar bear. Soon to be released as a book which includes writing, photography and illustrations, the project took over a year to plan, and even longer to come to light.
